75th editions of SANTOSH TROPHY starts from November 21 . -

BE Ready for the 75th edition of SANTOSH TROPHY ( 2021-22 )

ON Monday, October 25th . AIFF announced the schedule for the 75th edition of Santosh Trophy 2021-2022 .The Santosh Trophy will start on November 21 with teams divided into Group A and Group B across five zones – North Zone, West Zone, South Zone, East Zone and North-East Zone.

Chandigarh and New Delhi will have all the North Zone matches, while West Zone will play their matches at Bhavnagar and Jaipur. In the mean time, East Zone games will be held at Kalyani and Bhubaneswar while North-East Zone will play their matches in Imphal and Shillong. Bengaluru will have the South Zone matches of the Santosh Prize.

The top team from each group will progress to the Final Round of Santosh Trophy 2021 which is expected to be played in Kerala later this year.

Jharkhand are the defending champions after winning the 2018-19 edition of the tournament. West Bengal are the most successful team in the Santosh Trophy having won the title 32 times.
